Akesfish 18 is a small fisherman but with big seas capabilities. The hull has a big deadrise, with enhanced flare and steep V that makes her adapt to face rough seas and bluewater fishing sessions like bigger boats. The hull is designed keeping in mind the experience of Akes 530 and 19 and has optimized in spray rails and chine geometry in order to keep maximum dryness and require small engines: although the hull is a seaworthy Deep V, the engine can be only a 40 hp to reach 28 knots of max speed. Reduced weight, due to infusion system, makes Akesfish 18 trailerable with a small car. The hull structure is made of sandwich, vacuum-injected epoxy-vinylester resin, with a strong stiffening system with big girders and full frame bulkheads.
