Saber 800 Cabin

The Australian waters are a tough test for the boats that navigate there: often strong winds, ocean that can create large waves in a short time, sometimes the need to cross the bar to go out offshore, and shark-infested waters, all request from the boat the maximum safety. The hulls must be very stable and with excellent seaworthiness to navigate rough or breaking seas, well balanced to be able to overcome the breakers, extremely robust to withstand jumps and bumps with angry waters, and unsinkable, because an inflatable tubular that tears during fishing or ..for a shark bite.. can put the crew in serious danger.

The Saber 800 cabin is a very particular boat, because it is an rib-kind equipped with tubular with D-section and foamfilled, non-inflatable, which combines the best characteristics of the RIB (buoyancy reserve, fender, stability), to those of the boat (impenetrability, absence of need for inflation, robustness, internal space). The hull is deep V with deadrise at the stern of 23 degrees, the construction is made of 5083 aluminum with high thicknesses and dense reinforcements, all the components installed are made to last. The layout includes a cockpit suitable for fishing, worktop for baits, sides with correct height to help the fishing action with the rod, wheelhouse with driving and co-pilot seat, closed V berth. The engine is outboard, with a single 350 hp the Saber 800 reaches 40 knots and offers a high level of comfort in any weather condition. Rugged, but all in an elegant and sporty aesthetic, proudly designed by Akesdesign.
